A very good large figure of a sailor standing on a well coloured oval gilt line base with both hands resting on his hips, wearing brimmed hat, neckerchief, shirt, and trousers. This well decorated figure can be found in three sizes, 13, 12, and 9 inches. It can also be found smoking a pipe and also titled ‘Fisherman.’ This figure is in perfect original condition having no damage, repairs, or restoration. It was made in Staffordshire, England c1850.
