A rare pearlware diminutive clown standing in a theatrical clown outfit on a stepped base with burgundy line, holding his right hand raised to his chest, his left behind him. The unusual gentleman is standing beside a three leaf bocage in theatrical attire, wearing a pointed wide brimmed hat, wide collared shirt or ruff, waistcoat, jacket, and baggy trousers. Made in Staffordshire, England c1820. This figure has a professional invisible repair at the base.
