A fabulous and rare Equestrian Staffordshire figure of Charles I seated astride his horse, wearing either traditional Carolean or Puritan dress. Charles holds the reins in his right hand and a scroll in his left. This figure would pair with Oliver Cromwell. It is probably theatrical in nature. It is in perfect condition having no damage, repairs, or restoration. Made in Staffordshire, England c1880.
