A  lovely figure of Sir Colin Campbell on horseback on a titled base with gilt capitals, his right hand on the horse’s flank holding a plumed hat, his left hand holding the reins, wearing a tunic with epaulettes and trousers, a sash across his chest.  A good example well detailed and coloured. This figure has an invisible professional repair to a chip on his plume feather. Made in Staffordshire, England in the late c1850’s.
