A figure of Empress Eugenie standing on a titled gilt lined base with raised gilt capitals, her right arm across her waist, her left to her side, wearing a bodice and long skirt. A very well modelled example, the best gold decoration I have ever seen on this figure. The figure has a professional invisible repair to the neck, no other damage, repairs, or restoration. Made in Staffordshire, England c1853, the year of her marriage to Napoleon Bonaparte III.
