A very large figure of Robert Burns standing on a circular base with a gilt script title. Burns with his left hand resting on a book, a pillar below, his right resting on his hip, wearing a cap, scarf, jacket, waistcoat, breeches, and stockings. One of the largest figures ever produced in the Potteries, this example is in very good condition having no damage, repairs, or restoration, c1860’s.
