The head of a man or boy, wearing a flat cap with a slot for coins, he has a wing collar shirt on and wears a spotted bow tie. These money box figures are extremely rare because when they had become full of coins they would have to be smashed to retrieve the contents, not many have survived the passage of time. This example was made c1850 and is in perfect condition.
