An early 19th century Staffordshire pearlware mug, made in the form of the head of the actor John Liston as Paul Pry with his name impressed along the band of his yellow top hat. Decorated with overglaze enamel colours, with a orange coat, green handle and white bow tie, c1830 and in perfect original condition.
